Entering Catalyst For the First Time
Welcome!
You are ready to go. And there are a few things that will make it easier for you to connect with people in Catalyst.
Tell People Who You Are!
Click on your name in the upper right had corner, and you will come to a screen like this:
Follow the Click here to edit... link and you will go to the next screen:
Where you can give a short bio, as well as contact information you want to make available to others.
This is also where you can change your password to something more memorable than the one you were issued when your account was established.
Filling this information out is really important. Each time you make a posting in Catalyst, your name appears above the post as a hot link. The link will take people to this information. (not to your password, of course -- that's private)
People who don't know you can find out a bit more about you. They can see how to e-mail or phone you.
Conferencing is wonderful -- but it can be faceless. These bios put a face on you (and soon, you'll be able to include a photo here as well)
