Thanks to the Internet, the shape and flavor of learning has taken on incredible new dimensions. It is now possible to construct learning environments and provide learning resources at a small fraction of the cost of courses, workshops, seminars and other activities requiring people to travel significant distances, block out precious time, and meet together face-to-face.
The Internet now allows us to do this differently. It will never replace what we can do together face-to-face, but it provides a rich foundation for learning that is resourceful and reflective.
Since 1995 Distance Learners have been helping people to use the web to learn, at a distance. We work with colleges and other learning institutions to develop and host online learning programs. We work with nonprofit organizations to build learning communities with their members and constituents.
If you want help in using the Internet to help people learn - then we want to work with you!
